HGV Class 2 Drivers Positions Available!
Day drivers & night driver!!
Based at our yard in tarnock just off A38 delivering sand, aggregate & tarmac on behalf of the quarries and delivering materials to our own customer sites.
We are currently seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials using a
Volvo 8 wheel tipper lorry for class 2 (C )These roles requires a valid Commercial Driving Licence Of that category
Responsibilities:
Load,Drive and operate a tipper lorry to deliver to designated locations
Load and unload materials safely and securely
Perform daily routine vehicle maintenance checks,
Maintain vehicle cleanliness (inside & out)
Adhere to safety regulations and traffic laws
Maintain accurate delivery records &
Be able to Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers
Requirements:
)Valid Driving Licence & drivers cpc card
)experience is an advantage, however we will accept new passes and have done before
)Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
)Ability to drive long distances while maintaining focus and alertness
)Punctuality & Good time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines
)Good communication skills and be able to work as a part of a team
)MPQC card and tarmac one card an added bonus but can be arranged for right applicant
class 2 positions will be operating in and around the south west & wales
position may involve working night shifts as and when required
Saturday work is part of the job when work is available and when legally possible (ie every other Saturday, when work available)
min 40 hour week plus overtime
hourly rate + overtime
company pension
cpc paid for by company subject to conditions
