Position: Internal Sales Representative
Salary: Competitive (Negotiable/Depending on experience) Meets/Exceeds Minimum Wage
Hours: Mon-Thurs 8.00 – 5.00, Fri 8:00 – 4:00 (with one hour lunch break)

Overview:
R&M Electrical Group (Cables Division), located in Bristol, has an exciting opportunity, in the roll of Internal Sales Representative. We're looking for somebody that can fit in to our friendly, busy office team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Sales and Customer Service, in both reactive and pro-active communications
Main Duties:
-Proactively maintaining and establishing a high level of customer support to new and existing customers in compliance with the Groups Sales strategy. -
The main tasks include (but not limited to):
-Generate sales activities to promote the growth of the group within an agreed target area.
-Responding to and following up sales enquiries using appropriate methods preparing meeting reports
-All tasks to be performed in compliance with the Groups Health & Safety and Quality Control systems.
-To increase the turnover and profit of the branch primarily through the development of new business and developing some key existing accounts
-Market research and information gathering
-Cold calling potential new customers, contacting regular spending accounts, re-contacting and activating dormant accounts and engaging in all facets of marketing and promoting business
-Undertaking any other duties that are within the skill and capacity of the individual as directed by the manager or other designated supervisors
Key Skills:
-Excellent communications skills, in both verbal and written forms
-An Electrical background preferable
-Accuracy and attention to detail
-A good level of skills in relation to Microsoft Office applications
-Ability to work as part of a team, but also with own initiative
-Ability to function under pressure and with an understanding of priorities relating to customer service
Training:
Training will be given on all aspects of the liaison with suppliers & customers and any additional IT required.
