Tesla has unveiled its next-generation Roadster, and as if its incredible speed wasn’t enough, the prototype also used SpaceX technology to perform brief airborne manoeuvres. It actually flew! 😲

The first thought from the Kongtrans team was:

“Does this mean we’ll be able to fly directly to our deliveries one day?” 😂

The Roadster shown is still a prototype, with production currently expected to begin in 2028. For now, the Kongtrans team will remain firmly on the ground, using vans, lorries, shipping containers and vessels to transport your belongings. 🚚🚢

Technology may continue to make transport faster, but delivering every shipment safely still requires:

Simply put, Door-to-Door shipping generally involves collecting your belongings from a specified address, transporting them through the warehouse, sea-freight and customs-clearance stages, and then arranging delivery to your destination address in the UK.

Boxes, luggage and furniture are collected from the specified address on the agreed date. Before collection, we will confirm the quantity and dimensions of the items, together with the address details.

When should you start preparing?

The relocation shipping process can be divided into the following key stages 👇

1️⃣ **Enquiry and quotation**

Provide your collection location, destination, preferred shipping date, and the approximate quantity, dimensions and photos of your belongings.

We’ll assess the volume, route and services required to help identify a suitable sea-shipping arrangement.

2️⃣ **Home collection or warehouse drop-off**

Once the arrangements have been confirmed, you may be able to book a home collection or deliver your packed belongings to the designated warehouse, depending on the service available.

Before collection, confirm the total number of boxes and clearly label the contents of each one.

3️⃣ **Checking, packing and declaration**

After your belongings arrive at the warehouse, they will be checked and prepared for shipment according to the agreed arrangements.
