Our Captain was on the ol' Societies Committee in 2019 - 2020 and they enjoyed it immensely!

(on Instagram) only wen' an' draw us this very impressive picture. Being quarantined at sea for nigh on a year now, we were pretty impressed it managed to get to us. Congratulations, graduates! It was a surprise to see our chancellor Sanjeev Bhaskar give us a shoutout in his speech, but very welcome!

As some o' ye may know, two Pirate Council members be graduatin' this year, so congratulations to Tia (our Cabin Boy) and Ben (our Quartermaster)

Just because they be jumpin' ship doesn't mean they're no longer part of the crew. We'll miss all the work ye did over the past year.

We hope everyone be safe and healthy, and we look forward to seein' ye next year.

Yer friendly neighbourhood Captain here to let ye know that we won Best New Society!!

When I started it back in August 2019, I never dreamed that we would win Best New Society. So many amazing societies were rightly nominated and shortlisted, and the fact that the cute little society with pirates that I came up with whilst watching Netflix back in June won means so much!

Thank you to everyone who nominated us, thank you to everyone who came along to our events, and a special thank you to all The Pirate Council for agreeing to be a part of my whacky idea and becoming some of my closest friends! 💜

More news!!

Our Captain has been nominated for TWO society awards on their own!! It be the same protocol for the other two awards, but I have been told that people who do not vote for Rhys will NOT be receivin' the long end of a plank, just a gentle disappointed look and a "that's okay" in a Welsh accent.
