Going to Churchill Academy from Monday 7th September 2026?

Service X10 will run from Yatton Train Station calling at all stops along the way through Congresbury. Following concerns over capacity we have worked with Notth Somerset Council and two single deck buses will be in operation from Monday. This will be reviewed daily by ourselves and North Somerset Council to see what the demand will be.

If you’re not on the home to school list (46 children are and passes are on the way to you) then children and 6th form will need to pay £1 each way.

Both buses will display x10 Churchill Academy on the front destination screen. Bus departs Yatton Station 07:54 and Congresbury Bridge at 08:00 booked to arrive at School at 08:16 .

Service 100 has been designed to get you to school by 08:20 with afternoon pick up between 15:40 and 15:45.

Only £1 each way.

Kids go free until 6th September.

With service X10 you can now stay out later. With evening buses back at 19:00 and 21:15 from Cribbs Causeway Bus Stn towards Portishead, Clevedon, Yatton, Congresbury Langford and Wrington.

There are also earlier buses from Wrington at 06:30 towards Southmead Hospital and at 07:20 as far as Yatton.

🚌🚨Effective 30/08/2026 a new timetable and route starts for Service X10🚨🚌

The route is extended beyond Yatton Train Station to serve Congresbury, Langford and Wrington. There is also a route change in Clevedon.

To replace part of the X7 around Walton Park x10 buses will no longer travel along Southern Way. They will instead stay on Kenn Rd and serve the stops near Tesco. They will then travel along Great Western Way, Hillside Rd, Sunnyside Rd, Lower Linden Rd, Linden Rd, Alexandra Rd, Marine Parade, Wellington Terrace, Robin Lane, Kings Rd, Cambridge Rd and Holly Lane.

This means no service to Old Street or Clevedon Hospital.

Please note:- due to roadworks to develop Clevedon Triangle for the new Transport hub and an upcoming closure on Chapel Hill buses will not serve the Triangle until further notice. Please use stops on Great Western Way near B&M.

Service X10 will also no longer serve Asda at Cribbs. The nearest stops being on Pegasus Rd.

Fares will also change inline with fares on similar services in the area.

Travel within a fare zone
Adult £1.80
Child 50p

All other student and child single fares remain at £1 single with no returns sold

Adult £2 special singles will be discontinued the new fare will now be £2:60 and £3:90 return.

The Adult £3 single fare cap remains in place with the return still £4:50

Full range of rider tickets issued and accepted along with all concession passes. An Avon Rider Day ticket is just £7 and valid on First Bus, Stagecoach, Eurocoaches, Abus and Kempsford Travel.

There will be timetable and route changes to service X10 from 31st August.

The route will now extend from Yatton Station onto the rest of Yatton, Congresbury, Langford and Wrington. There will be new links to parts of Walton Park in Clevedon. With later buses to and from Cribbs Causeway. There will also be connection from Yatton and Congresbury to Churchill Academy on schooldays only.

Service x10s will be introduced as a school day term time only bus to connect students with Clevedon School and also for students to Portishead Town Centre for the short walk to Gordano School.

For those who do not have a school bus pass paid for by the Loval Authority fares are £1 each way.

Service update Saturday 15th August 12:20

Due to last minute sickness and all staff out driving our phone lines will not be maned.

Also, the following journeys on service 100 will not operate this afternoon.

15:00 Bristol to Bath

Despite our efforts we’re unable to cover the above journey due to last minute sickness Plans are in place to cover the 17:40 from Bath as this is the last bus.

We apologise for the disruption and inconvenience caused.
