That's plenty of bait sorted nice and swiftly. Now let's see if we can put it to good use. Shouldn't be an issue as you might notice, I had the best crewman in the business on this trip 😉. We welcome anglers of all ages and abilities aboard Galloper and try to offer something for everyone. Please contact me on 07956411528 for more information or to join us here in Falmouth, Cornwall or back in Brightlingsea Essex.

I'm loving the new alfresco throttles on Galloper. They make life far easier when dealing with the tuna and will undoubtedly aid some of the bass fishing at home.

We had more than just tuna when Neil joined us, a few blue sharks and a tub gurnard just to name some. I bought some sunshine down from Essex too. Hopefully there's plenty more where that came from. I look forward to the next few weeks. I have spaces here in Falmouth before I head back to Essex. Please contact me on 07956411528 for more information

When it's big boys weather and the big fish come out to play and even the big boys tackle gets put to the test. Well done Charlie for doing a great job taming a big fish in sporty conditions at times.
We gave a few spaces remaining for the tuna and much more aboard Galloper from Falmouth please contact me on 07956411528 for more information

Niel was pleased with his first tuna. Who wouldn't be? He was straight on the stand up gear and soon got the hang of it. A squal past through as he played it to keep us on our toes!
If you want to join us aboard the Galloper from Falmouth for tuna and more please call 07956411528 for more information

As the sun came out and Neil was down here early. We couldn't resist heading out past fragle rock (this lighthouse was on the start of fraggle rock) we scratched out a few new species for Neil. Luckily I even managed a bull huss or two as If I don't see a dogfish for too long I break out in hives.
It's lovely to be able to get such variety so easily here. That's why we come to Falmouth.
I have spaces aboard Galloper from Falmouth and Brightlingsea. Please contact me on 07956411528 for more information

It's funny how things change and most people know I love the variety and unpredictable nature sea angling can offer. Dad was a charter skipper from Essex for over 50 years. In that time he dreamt of catching conger eels from the Essex coast. At the height of his career he made his name wreck fishing for big cod, ling, pollack and more. At the same time there were big conger being caught and records broken along the south coast. Dad used to anchor and bait fish the wrecks here regularly. Yet he only ever had conger aboard any of his boats. was a small bootlace caught on a general trip inshore shortly before he retired. He was very pleased to see it whatever size as he'd achieved a long standing ambition.
Just a few years later and we see them quite regularly. On a variety of marks too, even the open ground and estuaries at times.
There are some marks I expect to see them on too. We fished one of those the other day. Just until 11am and had 7 conger. All little bootlaces but all welcome.
We've had a couple of bigger straps into to double figures over the last few weeks too and once again we are glad to see something different. I'm down here in Falmouth at the moment and will probably see some eels while I'm here. Once I'm back in Essex I hope to see some more though as they are great fun on uptide gear and a welcome addition to the day.
I have spaces here in Falmouth (Cornwall) before the start of October. Targeting tuna and more.
I then have spaces in October onwards from Brightlingsea (Essex)

Thanks to Ben for grabbing me some footage of some big lazy tuna picking off small bait. I had my hands full at the time 😉. I must try and remember to film some of the action this year!
I still have spaces chasing these magnificent creatures and plenty more too from here in Falmouth please call 07956411528 for more information

It's not just the tuna that draws us down to Falmouth we have already had several blue sharks, pollack, gurnard, scad, mackerel, launce, poor cod, pouting, comber just to name a few! We will run trips for all of those and much more if you don't just want tuna. I have a few days available although most are taken. I've found myself with availability this Wednesday (8th) from Falmouth, Cornwall.

more information.

It's nice to see the locals remember me! They are pretty friendly too although I think they are probably hitching a free ride! It's pretty rare that we aren't treated to common dolphins while here in Falmouth. There's normally loads each day and they all add to the experience.
