Good morning Bridgwater!

Over the weekend a lot of activity from our team centred once again around Bus Station Cafe -Bridgwater. We have a WhatsApp feed where we share which businesses we've visited and the pics we take whilst we are there.

On Saturday Paul, Chair of the Town Team popped down to Eastover to meet Dot and her team and help judge the Easter colouring competition they had run. Paul also stopped for breakfast and the pics he sent through encouraged Kate from Victoria Park Community Centre to make a visit later in the day.

We're all helping one another learn about other businesses in the town and we hope we are doing the same for you. We've a long way to go, but everyday new business friendships are being built. We will keep true to and continue to prove 🙂

Good morning Bridgwater!

When events are held in our town it's always so much better when we all work together - event organisers and local businesses.

Gemma has taken over responsibility for organising the Bridgwater Food and Drink Festival with the first event being this weekend on Saturday April 18th.

Gemma has attended town team meetings and worked with the town council communications team to make sure everyone is briefed on what will be happening on the day. She has also walked the walk as well as talking the talk and has visited many local business to let them know in person plans for the day and encourage them to get involved.

So today's pic is Gemma and her lovely daughter visiting Beth at Be Ave. Not only was information shared, purchases were made.

It always pays to and on Saturday April 18th we're all hoping for fine weather so that we can truly show as a whole community that !

Morning everyone!

The pair of us spent yesterday planning and tidying. The tidying got a little more of our attention than the planning. After seven years the workshop needs some ruthless clearing out ... We're on a mission to create more space!!

Good morning Bridgwater!

Every part of our business community is so important and as small business owners we can't always do all the tasks.

Sarah from The Crafty Collective took the opportunity to take a picture with Susan from when she popped in to pick up their accounting files. Tax returns could cause lots of anxiety but we always feel safe and sound with Susan's guidance.

Recommendations for expert help when we need it is one of the great benefits of belonging to the town team. Whilst we wish we could all be expert accountants, solicitors, website builders, insurance gurus etc sometimes a bit of help goes a long way.

Even in this we all work hard to and prove that . 😊

Morning everyone!

We're open 10 until 4 today with Sarah on duty to help with your purchases.

If any of you come by with your little people and take a pic with our Easter bunny there's a sweet treat waiting to be collected inside the store.

Bella did an excellent job of posing yesterday but may have tried to charm Grandma and Auntie Sarah to part with more than one sweet treat... She's a charmer!

Good morning Bridgwater!

We're slightly later posting today but we're back with another community spirited post.

Yesterday we got sent through pics of all the Easter Eggs collected by the lovely team at Nationwide Building Society.

Over 90 Easter eggs were handed over to local charity the gift of giving, for local children facing hardship.

Community spirit remains at the heart of our business community and is demonstrated by the "brands" and independents alike.

We love proving that and when you you ultimately help us to help you... It's only by keeping us all in business that we can help with fundraising requests and charitable donations. 😊

It's always great seeing what Andrew will create next and we're loving the new whale style board. We could tell he does too as he couldn't wait to show us the latest design!
