Going Above and Beyond – HPC Excellence Awards! 🏆

Congratulations to Steve and Toni from our J23 Park & Ride team, who found out at the HPC Workforce Awards Lunch this week that they have been shortlisted for the Going Above and Beyond Award.

Their nomination praised them for consistently going above and beyond to support the HPC workforce. They were recognised for their friendly, helpful and positive approach, always providing clear guidance and making passengers feel welcomed and valued. Their professionalism and can-do attitude make a real difference to everyone using the Park & Ride.

Steve and Toni will be attending the HPC Excellence Awards Gala Dinner, where the winners will be announced.

We’re also delighted that SPS has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Supplier Partnership Award.

A fantastic achievement all round — good luck to Steve, Toni and the SPS team! 🤞🏆

Celebrating Excellence in the SPS Team🏆

We came together at The Canalside in Bridgwater, for the SPS Excellence Awards 2026 to celebrate our amazing people, recognising the dedication, teamwork and achievements that continue to make SPS what it is. A huge congratulations to all our winners and nominees! 🌟

It was also a special evening as we celebrated raising over £8,000 for Young Lives vs Cancer A huge thank you to Joe Hooper for joining us and helping us mark this fantastic achievement. 💙

Simon Cursio, Managing Director of SPS, said:

"Tonight is one of my favourite events of the year because it gives us the opportunity to pause, look back, and most importantly recognise the incredible people who make SPS what it is. Our greatest strength remains exactly what it has always been: our people."

50km. One Team. One Incredible Cause. 💙

On Saturday 8 August, three of our SPS colleagues, Simon, Jack and Aled, took on an incredible 50km ultra marathon from Wells to Weston-super-Mare, all in support of Young Lives vs Cancer

Together, they've raised over £2,200 for this important cause. 🙌
