British Airways has revealed the refreshed cabins for its refurbished A380s, with new seats across First, Club, World Traveller Plus and World Traveller.

The upper deck is the headline: 106 Club Suites spread across the entire level, which BA describes as the world's largest business class cabin, cleverly divided into four zones so it feels welcoming rather than vast.

The suite is a refined evolution of the current design, with a fresh colour palette, new trims and added storage.

Downstairs, the new First suite, first unveiled in 2024, now comes with its very own mini bar, stocked with premium snacks and drinks.

The first aircraft is expected to enter service in the coming months, so there's plenty to look forward to for anyone with long-haul travel on the horizon. If you'd like a hand choosing the right way to fly for your next journey, drop me a line.

Rwanda is one of Africa's most compelling and surprising destinations - a small nation of mist-covered volcanoes, ancient rainforest, and extraordinary wildlife experiences.

Known as the Land of a Thousand Hills, it is a country of remarkable beauty and, for many, a single unforgettable encounter at its heart.

That encounter is gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park, and it is, quite simply, one of the most profound wildlife experiences on the planet.

Coming face to face with a mountain gorilla family in their natural rainforest habitat is a moment that defies description.

These are critically endangered creatures, observed up close in complete silence, an experience as humbling as it is extraordinary.

Yet Rwanda has much more to offer beyond the gorillas. The mist-draped Nyungwe Forest is alive with chimpanzees and thirteen other primate species, the rolling plains of Akagera National Park offer classic big-game safari, and the serene shores of Lake Kivu provide a beautiful and unhurried place to unwind at the end of an adventure-filled trip.

Kigali, Rwanda's immaculate and thoughtfully modern capital, is also well worth some time - a city that tells a powerful story of resilience, creativity, and pride.

From the UK, Rwanda is approximately eight to nine hours by flight, making it an accessible African escape that is, in every sense, utterly unlike anywhere else.
