A blaze in the engine room of the Caesarea Trader - previously Condor’s Commodore Goodwill - has triggered a major Coastguard response after it caught fire off the Isle of Wight.

Helicopters, lifeboats and tugs have been deployed to assess the situation as the cargo vessel - which carries freight between Jersey and Portsmouth - awaits assistance.
