⬛️ REST IN PEACE TAHIR FAROOQ: A GREAT LOSS TO THE BRADFORD TAXI TRADE

It is with deep sadness that we report the sudden and tragic passing of Tahir Farooq, a true stalwart and pillar of the Bradford and Shipley taxi community. Tahir passed away suddenly following a heart attack at the age of 60.

For over 30 years, Tahir was a familiar, trusted, and highly respected face across our industry. As the owner of XpressRide Bradford & Shipley and through his previous work with Frizinghall Taxis and Dial A Ride Taxis, he didn't just run a business—he built a legacy of care, dedication, and genuine friendship.

To his drivers, he was a supportive and fair boss. To his competitors, he was a man of integrity and mutual respect. And to his regular passengers, he treated everyone like extended family.

The incredible turnout of drivers and operators from across Bradford and the entire country at his Salat ul Janazah at Madni Jamia Masjid spoke volumes. It was a powerful reflection of the deep affection and high regard in which he was held by the entire trade.
