🚚 A quieter week on the road, but plenty going on behind the scenes!

It’s been a little quieter than I’d like delivery-wise this week, but that certainly hasn’t stopped me getting out and about. 👍

I’ve been spending time visiting local businesses, meeting new people, making new contacts and, most importantly, putting a face to the name SFB Courier Service.

And the work is still coming in — today the van is loaded up with a good number of loft access doors and ready to get them where they need to be. 💪🚚

The wait is finally over… 🚚✨

Today marks a big milestone for me and S.F.B Courier Service.

After months of planning, investing and believing in what I’m building, my van is now fully branded—and I honestly couldn’t be happier with how it’s turned out.

When I started this business, I knew it wouldn’t happen overnight. Building a reputation takes time, hard work and consistency. Every delivery, every conversation, every recommendation and every bit of support helps move things forward.

Seeing the van looking like this makes it all feel that little bit more real. It’s more than just signwriting; it’s a reminder that every step, no matter how small, is taking me closer to where I want the business to be.

It’s been a little quiet on here lately, but that doesn’t mean I’ve been sitting still! 🚐💨

Like many small business owners, sometimes you’ve got to take the work that’s available while continuing to build your own business.

Over the last few weeks I’ve been helping out my old boss, collecting and delivering building materials, doing a bit of labouring, and keeping busy wherever needed. It’s not all courier work, but it keeps me moving, keeps the bills paid, and most importantly keeps me meeting people and making connections.

In between that I’ve still been carrying out courier jobs for existing customers and continuing to build SFB Courier Service one delivery at a time.

Running your own business isn’t always a straight road. Some weeks are busier than others, but you keep turning up, keep working hard, and keep pushing forward.

Collection in Newbury this morning, delivered safely into Wokingham for Exact Building.

Truth is… it’s still a bit quiet right now.
But I’m not chasing noise — I’m building something solid.

Update on Lexi

This photo was taken a couple of hours after we got home from the vets.

Still a little sleepy from the anaesthetic, but very happy with the treat they gave her.

She’ll be going back next Monday for surgery to remove the lump, so for now it’s quiet rest and keeping everything crossed. 🤞🐾

The most important passenger in the van today wasn’t cargo… it was Lexi. 🐾

This morning my little co-pilot and I made a different kind of trip from Bracknell to Reading.

Lexi had a vet appointment for a biopsy on a lump on the top of her rear leg, so today the focus was simply getting her there safely.

Normally the van is carrying pallets, parcels and building materials, but today it was on dog duty.

She’s been beside me through the early starts and long days while building SFB Courier Service, so today it was my turn to be there for her.

Sometimes the most important journeys aren’t deliveries.

Fingers crossed for my brave little passenger today. 🐾

A small update today.

I’ve refreshed the S.F.B Courier Service branding and logo.

But one thing hasn’t changed…
It’s still just me behind the wheel making sure every job gets from A to B safely and on time.
