Message from the Co-Headteachers:

Dear Parents/Carers,

Unfortunately, following our earlier communication, we have now had to make the difficult decision to close the school tomorrow, Thursday 25th June.

An increasing number of local schools are now closing due to the forecast extreme temperatures. As a result, a large number of our staff are unable to attend work as they need to remain at home to care for their own children. This has left us without sufficient staffing to safely operate the school and college.

We appreciate that this decision has been made at very short notice and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. However, the safety and well-being of our pupils and staff must remain our priority.

The school will reopen as normal on Friday 26th June. We will notify transport providers of the closure and ensure that arrangements are in place for Friday's reopening.
