Rail Planning Services recently supported works during the nine-day railway closure between Ashford and Borough Green & Wrotham.

The programme included significant infrastructure upgrades, including track renewals and drainage improvements designed to improve the long-term reliability of the route.

Large-scale blockades require detailed planning, experienced safety-critical staff and effective coordination across multiple sites to help ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.

Complex Multi-Site Possession West Anglia Main Line 🚧
Rail Planning Services were proud to support Pod-Trak during a 52-hour possession between Cheshunt, Broxbourne and Sawbridgeworth Station, supplying experienced safety-critical staff across a challenging 17-mile worksite.

The possession involved complex overlapping sites of work, multiple tampers, RRVs and level crossings — requiring detailed coordination, strong communication and experienced teams throughout the weekend.
