📢 Important Update for All first class airport services customers

🔴Terminal 2 Drop-Off Changes

We have been informed of an important change at Manchester Airport Terminal 2 that will affect all concession users, first class airport services

➡️ From Monday 17th November 2025, 18.00 the airport will require all taxi driver drop-offs to take place ONLY at the Lower T2 Drop-Off Forecourt (Ground Floor).

🚫 We will no longer be able to drop passengers at the Upper Forecourt Drop-Off area.

The airport has confirmed that the concession card will not apply there anymore, and using the upper level would now cost us 60% more. 😬

To avoid passing on unnecessary costs to our customers, first class airport services have no option will be using the Lower T2 Drop-Off moving forward.

📍 What this means for you:

📍All Terminal 2 drop-offs will take place on the Lower Forecourt.

📍There are lifts and escalators to take you up a level

🔴There is no change to pick-ups or to any other terminals.

This update allows us to keep our prices fair while following the airport’s new operational rules.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as the airport makes these changes and try to manage increased traffic flow 🤪

Which they’ve not thought about prior to all the airlines moving over

From 21 October, Ryanair passengers will no longer use the usual Terminal 3 entrance.

Here’s what to do instead:
➡️ Check-in: Terminal 1, Departures A
➡️ Security: Use the new security lanes
➡️ Departure Gates: Follow signs leading into Terminal 3 (shops & food outlets remain open)

🛬 Arrivals remain unchanged.
Airport staff will be on hand to help guide you.

📲 Ryanair Goes Fully Digital

From 12 November 2025, Ryanair will phase out paper boarding passes.

⚠️ Ryanair passengers at Manchester Airport: change from 21 October

Ryanair passengers flying from Manchester Airport will see a small change to their journey as work continues to improve Terminal 3.

From 21 October, passengers will no longer use the usual Terminal 3 entrance. Instead, they should head to Terminal 1 Departures A, where they will check in and pass through the new security lanes.

Once through security, passengers will follow a clearly signed route into Terminal 3’s departure lounge, where all existing shops and food outlets remain open.

This arrangement will stay in place until Terminal 1 closes, at which point the entrance will be renamed and permanently become the entrance to Terminal 3. Clear signage will be in place, and our airport colleagues will be on hand to assist passengers.

The arrivals route remains unchanged. All Ryanair passengers returning to Manchester will continue to arrive at Terminal 3
