We want to say a huge Happy Birthday to the K in our name Kiara.
The most loyal lovable dog I could ever have wished for. As most people who have used Jkmcouriers will know she is always by my side watching and making sure the job is getting done right.
However I have decided that she's getting a day off today on this special day. Just two years ago she changed my life forever, even becoming a large reason for why I left employment and started this journey.

Yesterday we did this.move from Bognor Regis to a storage facility in Littlehampton for Simon and Rachel.

This job included an American fridge freezer and an electric piano along with several other large heavy items.
As always we pride ourselves on being on time and careful with each and every item.

On many occasions this is the first step to moving to a new home and this was no exception with Simon and Rachel preparing for their dream move to Wales. We wish you all the best in your search.

This was our first job yesterday! We will be returning later today for collection too.

We try to support the community where we can, so it was fantastic to be able to help this nonprofit organisation that supports local artists.

Yesterday morning we did a triple location job for Gillian. The first pick up location was in pagham which was the tall bookcase and electric recliner chair. We delivered these to another address on Bognor where we then picked up a sofa. Taking us to our final location in Littlehampton.

It's important with jobs like this to ensure the logistics are planned correctly for a seamless service providing our customers with a streamline feel so they can continue with their day with minimal interruptions.

Kerra found this stunning large round glass table with six chairs of the Facebook marketplace. The only issue here was how she could get it from Goring by sea to Felpham. That's where we come in!

Disassembled, transported, reassembled!

Yesterday morning was yet another repeat customer, Katy, who needed the transportation of this lovely double wardrobe from Haywards Heath to Littlehampton.

With all second hand flat pack furniture, especially wardrobes (or anything with doors really), there is a risk that once taken apart it won't be of the same quality once reassembled. This is because they are generally designed to only be built the once. With our own expertise though (and a touch of stubbornness!) we work hard to rebuild it as close to the original as possible.

We also picked up two mattresses for Katy as part of this job - a second hand one came with the wardrobe, and a brand new one from a different location. We make sure mattresses are well protected so they arrive in the same condition as they were collected - the same as any other item! We feel this is extra important though (especially for hygiene reasons), for something you spend so long sleeping and relaxing on!

Built, painted and ready to use.

Last week we took on the build and painting of this Walton's 6x8 garden shed.

It comes as a flat pack so it must be simple right? No! I would not recommend anyone buying this brand as from start to finish we discovered poor craftsmanship and quite honestly the instructions lacked luster. Fortunately with bags full of experience we were able to put the wrongs from the manufacturer right.

Yesterday we built this trio of units manufactured by Melody Maison for Ella ready for her new and first home!

The products themselves were extremely well made ( a lot of bolts and screws), but on the whole easy to build once you have figured the first one out. They have the option of two different handles designs and colours depending on what suits you best. I'd highly recommend them if your looking for long lasting stylish furniture.

This was our second job for Ella in a matter of days after we had previously moved some furniture for her from her mum's into her new home.

I'd personally like to extend a huge thankyou for your hospitality while working for you. Thank you for the regular drinks provided 😊

This Tuesday we did a three bedroom house move for the lovely Aimee Kelly

This move was based in Yapton and included the full dismantlement and reassembly of three beds and a three door wardrobe . We also helped to finish the remainder of the packing to ensure Aimee had as little stress as possible on her moving day .

Each move we do is trailered for each individual's needs as we know no house move is the same. For this specific move we made sure Aimee had her children's and her bed up and ready to sleep in on the day.We also ensured that everything was put in correct places so no moving around was needed after we left.

We would like to send our best wishes to Aimee and her family. What a beautiful home where you can make memories that will last a lifetime.
