HGV Mechanic
Location: Blackburn, Lancashire
Salary: ÂŁ50,000 Basic + Overtime

About the Role
MK Transport is looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Mechanic to join our growing team. Working with a modern fleet of vehicles, you will play a key role in ensuring our fleet remains safe, compliant, and operating efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanic looking for a well-paid role with excellent overtime opportunities, weekly bonuses, and weekly pay.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGV vehicles
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
* Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance
* Ensure all work is completed to DVSA and company standards
* Maintain accurate service and repair records
* Work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime
* Support the smooth operation of the fleet
Requirements
* Previous experience working as an HGV Mechanic/Technician
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Knowledge of HGV maintenance and repair procedures
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Relevant qualifications in vehicle maintenance (preferred)
* HGV licence advantageous but not essential
