Some of the team from Essex Carp Boat Hire have just returned from a successful fishing trip to Domaine des Îles 🇫🇷

The trip showed exactly why having a boat can make such a huge difference. From finding clear spots and placing rigs accurately, to landing fish safely in tricky areas, the boat was a massive advantage throughout the session.

Despite mixed weather, including some spectacular rainbows 🌈, the fish kept coming and we managed some incredible captures along the way 👌

Back from our France trip at Chef de Ville 🇫🇷🎣

Between the group we had over 150 fish across 4 swims… unreal fishing 👊🔥

The boats made a massive difference all week — getting rigs placed properly, finding spots and staying on the fish.

🎣 Welcome to Essex Carp Boat Hire

We’re a family-run business with a real passion for fishing. Run by twin brothers John & Lee along with their boys Ronnie & Frank, we’ve spent over 30 years carp fishing across the UK and France, constantly learning and improving our knowledge of the sport.

Living right by the River Stort and Spellbrook Lock, fishing has always been part of our lives and something we genuinely love.

We started Essex Carp Boat Hire to help fellow anglers get more out of their sessions — whether that’s placing bait accurately, reaching tricky spots, or making fishing larger waters much easier.
