Flight Ranch will be closed Wednesday 26 August, sorry for any inconvenience.

🚨 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - CLOSED TOMORROW 🚨

Unfortunately, due to an unexpected delay with our new flooring, we won’t be able to open tomorrow, Wednesday 26th August.

We’re absolutely gutted and really sorry for the late notice, but the café simply won’t be ready or safe to welcome you in.

We’ll be back open as normal on Thursday 27th August from 9am, with a lovely new floor ready for you all to see! ✈️🐮💚

Please share this post and let anyone know who may have been planning to visit us tomorrow.

Over the weekend Fishburn Airfield hosted Race 2 of 5 in the Royal Aero Club RRRA 2026 British Air Racing Championship and the turn-out and support from the local community to witness both days air-racing was fantastic with both the Flight Ranch and Aircraft Restoration Group also benefiting from an increase in visitors which was evident by the overflowing car park and also thanks to the resident aircraft owners and pilots who helped throughout the weekend .

The airfield appreciates the support of the local community and always tries to be a good neighbour and apologises for any disturbance caused by the event especially noise and on Fathers Day too when Dads might have been looking forward to a quiet lazy morning......

Likewise the Royal Aero Club appreciates the use of Fishburn Airfield and another return visit by them was marked by the presentation of a plaque to Beryl Morgan for her families support in the running of the airshow races . A few photos ;

Competitors arriving for the British Air Racing Championship this weekend.
Practice is at 12.00 followed by Race 1 at 15.00.
Races 2 and 3 will take place on Sunday.

The 3Rs come back to Fishburn this weekend for the 2nd race of the 2026 British Air Racing Championship.
Racing will take place on Saturday and Sunday.
