💙☀️ Ray of Sunshine Care at The Care Show Birmingham 2026!

Last week, our management team had a fantastic day attending The Care Show in Birmingham!

It was a great opportunity to connect with other professionals within the care sector, explore new technology, discover innovative ideas and learn about the latest developments in health and social care.

We particularly enjoyed catching up with the team at PASS, the care management system we use every day, and finding out about their latest developments! 💻💜

At Ray of Sunshine Care, we’re passionate about continuous learning, development and finding new ways to make a positive difference to the lives of the people we support.

Mental wellbeing matters — for our service users, families and carers alike.

At Ray of Sunshine Care Ltd, we care about more than physical health. We care about the person — their feelings, their worries and the things that bring them comfort and joy. ☀️

A kind word, a friendly check-in or a listening ear can help someone feel heard and valued. Sometimes, taking a little time to ask “How are you really feeling?” can open the door to an important conversation.

To anyone finding things difficult: you don’t have to pretend you’re okay. You deserve understanding, kindness and support. 💚

And to our care team and everyone supporting a loved one — your wellbeing matters too. You deserve the same compassion and care that you give to others.

At Ray of Sunshine Care, we know how important it is for families to feel informed and involved in their loved one’s care.

We use PASS for Care to securely record care notes and important updates following our visits. Through OpenPASS, authorised family members can keep up to date with their loved one’s care and communicate directly with our management team.

Whether you’re nearby or further away, OpenPASS provides that extra reassurance and helps keep everyone connected. 💜

Anthony is our Owner, Nominated Individual and Manager, and is passionate about providing compassionate, person centred care that makes a genuine difference to people in our local community.

And there’s a little fact about Anthony you might not know… he once completed a skydive for the Lymphoma Association to celebrate being in remission himself! 🪂
