What an absolutely beautiful place to visit! Today we explored the famous windmills of Zaanse Schans, just outside Amsterdam, and what a wonderful experience it was.

With its historic wooden windmills, traditional Dutch houses, peaceful waterways and stunning countryside views, it really does feel like stepping back in time.

Some of these windmills are hundreds of years old and still stand proudly today, offering a fascinating glimpse into the Netherlands’ rich history and heritage.

From the picturesque scenery to the charming little bridges and traditional buildings, there’s something beautiful around every corner. 📸

The Netherlands has so much more to offer than just Amsterdam, and Zaanse Schans is definitely somewhere worth visiting! 🇳🇱❤️
