As the darker months set in, we’d like to share a little of the sunshine and light from the summer that’s just passed with Adrian and Claudia, who bought Karinya this season. Adrian works in show business in his native Switzerland, in Austria and also in Germany. He is a songwriter, musician, singer and music producer with two bands of his own. Claudia acts as his manager, so to speak, and handles the marketing for the well-known bandleader, who, after turbulent times in his industry, always enjoys retreating to the tranquil waterways of France. It is on his 1926 Dutch tugboat that he has repeatedly found peace of mind, and now he is shaking off the stress of the media and show business on his Karinya, which also helps him find new inspiration. He’d always intended to buy a Piper, but it had to be exactly the right one. He’d spent many years visualising ‘his’ Piper in terms of size and fittings, and now his patience and faith in life have been rewarded: that visualisation has become a clear reality.
The couple, with their two dogs on board, are absolutely delighted and spend as much time as possible on their Karinya.
