Great to see our new Heritage Hanger storage facility featured on page 8 of BAR’s R&S Magazine. The team have worked tirelessly to develop this bespoke heritage storage facility, which will provide the highest levels of care for valuable heritage collections.

Developed in partnership with the National Conservation Service (NCS), the Heritage Hanger caters predominantly to the heritage sector. The facility is a natural progression for Jamie Briggs Removals & Storage, who already operate a heritage moving service. Get in touch if you would like more information. Last week two of our crew went to Westgate Library in Oxford to complete a move of 31 acrylic statues, on behalf of a breast cancer charity who needed their travelling exhibition of 31 statues moving, into storage for two months until they were needed to be transported to their next location. The 31 figures were made of a steel powder coated base which holds the plastic figure as a panel – they are approximately 6ft in height. Our crew collected the statues through the back/goods in entrance of the library to not disturb the library whilst it was open to the public.

Our Director, Jamie Briggs enjoyed a fascinating visit to Banbury Museum recently as part of his role on the Banbury Charities board. The current photography exhibition is truly captivating and definitely worth a visit!

It was also insightful to hear from Museum Director Simon Townsend about the museum's vital role in our community and their need for support from local businesses and patrons to ensure their future. If you're passionate about preserving our local heritage, please consider becoming a patron of Banbury Museum.

It's been a busy few months getting people moved before the stamp duty threshold rise. Good to get some feedback from a recent client.

"An exceptionally good service, with careful, polite and obliging staff. I would thoroughly recommend this company, their performance was exemplary."

We're thrilled to share details of a recent heritage move. The team relocated precious collections and archives for a client at their onsite location, moving them safely between buildings.

This was a delicate operation, requiring extra care! We used specialised materials from our partners at Conservation Resources UK Ltd, including acid-free tissue paper for gentle cushioning, bespoke acid-free archive boxes for secure storage, and cotton tapes for safe handling. This project underlines our dedication to preserving and protecting valuable items.

A huge thank you to our amazing team and to Conservation Service for their support!

Recently we've been doing some lovely sunny moves. When we've got a few large items to carry, using the ramp makes things easier and safer for our crew to move these items into the van. Not only does the ramp make our crew happier, it also makes working outside less challenging especially if there is difficult access to a property or facility.

Thrilled to share highlights from our recent JWB Group offsite managers meeting at the beautiful Honesberie Clay Ground and Events. We brought together managers from Jamie Briggs Removals & Storage, Hanger Storage & Logistics, and Conservation Resources UK Ltd for a day of insightful discussions and team building.

We delved into crucial business updates and discussed ways to foster more open communication and collaboration. A significant proportion of time was dedicated to exploring our company culture, sparking a thoughtful forum on how we can continue to nurture a positive and productive workplace. It was truly "food for thought" and a great opportunity to align our vision.

To cap off the day, we engaged in some fantastic shooting activities, expertly led and coached by the amazing Honesberie team! It was a fun and challenging way to build camaraderie and learn new skills.

A huge thank you to Honesberie for their exceptional hospitality and for creating such a memorable experience for our team. We truly appreciate your warm welcome and the outstanding activities you provided.

Here's to continued growth and collaboration within the JWB Group!

A year ago we helped a client to move house. One of the items that needed particular care and attention was an upright piano, which needed to be moved from the dining room to our waiting removals vehicle on their driveway. The move required the removals crew to negotiate some very tricky tight corners, whilst all the time protecting the heavy piano.

The client was delighted with how the move went. Their feedback might have been brief, but the words they choose to use were very powerful.
"Friendly, helpful and positive. Polite, efficient and professional."

If you have a piano, or other precious large items, that need to be moved/transported anywhere, please get in touch.

As you know, as a business we are big supporters of Banbury Rugby Club. Not only do we sponsor the club, and have done for more years than we can remember, but some of our staff play for them, several have done so in the past, whilst many others turn out to cheer from the stands on a regular basis.

The end of the season might be drawing ever closer, but our enthusiasm and dedication to support the senior teams over the next few weeks remains strong, as does our pride in the club and the amazing work they do for both individuals and the community as a whole. Will you be joining us on the sidelines/in the stands to support the club and their many teams in the final weeks of the season, particularly in light of their continued celebrations to mark their 100 year history?
