Parking is limited, once full we will have to redirect passengers. Bryn Llys is only a 13min walk through Parc Meurig from Bethesda where there is plenty of parking, if you can arrive on foot please do.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO JOIN TUESDAY GANG
We are looking for volunteers to join our team who meet regularly to carry out maintenance, keeping the railway in good condition. This takes place midweek and so would best suit local retired folk, people who like to tinker and do DIY in particular.

Perhaps you have a relative who might be interested?

The work is outdoors and weather dependent. Enjoyment comes from satisfaction in the work achieved, part of which is camaraderie from working in a like minded team, and of course playing trains or seeing others enjoy a ride.

Tasks range from sweeping leaves, through to mechanical work looking after the trains themselves. Its not all work, regularly a day is spent running trains and of course there is the opportunity to drive them. There are also opportunities outside of our open days for friends and family to come along and enjoy a ride without the queues.

DIWRNOD AGOR NESAF - DYDD SUL MEDI 1AF
NEXT OPEN DAY - SUNDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER
Rydym yn hapus i sicrhau ein diwrnod agored nesaf, yn y cyfamser rydym yn chwilio am help i dalu am trwsio injan 'Meg' os gwelwch yn dda.

We're pleased to confirm the date of our next open day, in the meantime we are looking for some help paying for repairs to our loco 'Meg' please.

After 16 years service our main locomotive 'Meg' is in need of repairs to get it back giving rides around the Joys of Life Railway.

Thank you to everyone who visited our open day & gave generously in the donation boxes. Regular visitors might have noticed a missing loco, 'Meg' which is the stalwart of our fleet and over the past 16 years has given many people happy rides around the track. It is in need of some major repairs costing £1,700. Please would you consider helping us cover the cost through this crowd funding page?

There are road closed signs at the turning off the A5 on Nant Ffrancon side of Bethesda, but the road is open through to Bryn Llys.
