More brilliant progress!! Last Saturday volunteers Sean and Finn continued the construction of the bridge supports by digging two trenches in order to lay curb edgings. This will allow us to have a block paved area that our bridge can rest on and be stable. More work to follow in the coming weeks.

The spitfire line moves onward!!

For the first time in over 6 months we’ve had some more progress on our new loop. Today Sean built 2 new brick abutments for our removable bridge upon the concrete footings we dug 2 weeks ago. So far the ext stage will be to finish the first curve and landscape it, complete the bridge and lay track over the other side, and proceed into the station in front of the glass doors! More updates to come over the summer! Watch this space.
Also some exquisite work from Dominic today who cut back all the protruding branches and sorted all of weeds on the track.

Great work from all our volunteers today especially in the heat. Well done team.
