โ๏ธ๐ด IBIZAโฆ YOU ROCK! ๐ ๐ดโ๏ธ
After all these years, we finally made it to Ibiza for the very first time โ and what a fabulous time we had!
Weโre definitely not the all-night party-goers ๐, but we still love good food, beautiful places, a bit of atmosphere and, of course, a little adventure!
๐ธ We visited the famous Hippy Market, celebrating over 50 years โ absolutely packed with colorful stalls, people and atmosphere. It was one of our hottest days too, but that didnโt stop us having a good browse and coming home with a couple of lovely purchases!
โด๏ธ One of our favorite days was taking the little ferry/water taxi along the coast to Ibiza Town, stopping at different resorts and ports along the way. Ibiza Old Town was just beautiful โ very quaint, full of character, gorgeous little streets and so much history. We even tackled the climb right to the top of Dalt Vilaโฆ definitely earned our lovely meal in the Old Town that evening! ๐
โ๏ธ We also had a bit of excitement when emergency weather alerts suddenly appeared on our phones warning of a storm! Thankfully it wasnโt quite as dramatic as expected. We had some very heavy rain, but by later that afternoon it had cleared โ and after that the weather was absolutely glorious, with temperatures back into the early 30s. โ๏ธ
We walked along the beautiful coastline, enjoyed plenty of relaxing time and had a fantastic Thai meal at Bambuddha โ absolutely delicious. ๐
And being on the east side of the island, it wasnโt the famous Ibiza sunsets we were waking up to โ it was the most fabulous sunrises. ๐
Watching the sun come up over the Mediterranean was absolutely beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of our holiday.
Ibiza really surprised us. โค๏ธ Itโs so much more than nightclubs and partying โ beautiful coastline, quaint towns, great food, fabulous sunrises and plenty to explore.
First visit to Ibizaโฆ but definitely not our last.
