Spectrum Centre At the Spectrum Centre, we want to put arts at the heart of the Community. Spectrum Centre is a major landmark in the Greater Shankill area.

Offically opened on the 30th October 2001, Spectrum Centre is a 3640 square metre, community lead development project, which combines a range of 'State of the Art' multipurpose facilities. The multi use building is suitable for both business activities, art and cultural activities. It is a home for live music, theatre, dance and visual art with only a few minutes drive from Belfast City centre and leading hotels, through excellent transport links. As a business space, there is an opportunity to hire the main hall for small conferences, exhibitions, commercial events, product launches, receptions, concerts, plays and rehearsals, seminars and much more.

'Battle Cry' is Ellen's current work in progress about her legacy activism and ongoing cancer journey. The event will be in aid of 'Breast Cancer Now'. Please come along to show your support!

Separately, Dr Graham Price of University College Dublin has just published an article on Ellen's previous book 'Resting Places' in the prestigious academic journal 'Review of Irish Studies in Europe'. The article is available free at this link:

https://risejournal.eu/index.php/rise/article/view/3466.

Graham has also added 'Resting Places' as a core text for Irish Studies courses at UCD. This is a major development. Irish Studies students at UCD will now be directed towards a book that not only relates the facts of Bandon Valley Massacre honestly, but addresses those facts with great courage and sensitivity.

THE MAN WHO SWALLOWED A DICTIONARY IS BACK β€” AND TOURING NORTHERN IRELAND!

TICKETS FOR SPECTRUM CENTRE - PHONE.. JACKIE ON 07548912571

Following another hugely successful run last year, Green Shoot Productions is bringing The Man Who Swallowed a Dictionary back to audiences across Northern Ireland this autumn.
Starring Paul Garrett as David Ervine, this powerful one-man play charts an extraordinary journey, from the backstreets of East Belfast and Long Kesh to the political negotiations that helped shape the Peace Process.

Funny, moving, challenging and unmistakably Northern Irish, the production has already proved a major audience hit, with its original Lyric Theatre run and subsequent NI tour selling out.
Now it’s hitting the road again. πŸ‘‡
