We don't just work on wooden boats in the shed ,this is a fairline phantom 46 which came in over the winter for head and side linnings replacement throughout ,the old was sagging and out of date ,with the new install she now looks modern and refreshing . It has been a busy winter in the shed ,with the team working hard on many projects ,this one Countess of light had a complete scrape and revarnish on the outside and over 300 ft of planking replaced with a complete new repaint on the hull .
Thanks to the team at East Coast boating services for their hard work also Bob at Creative sign writing for the outstanding (as always )gold leave signage .

Big thanks also to the new owners for being the next custodians of this lovely old Herbertwoods girl and keeping her afloat for many more years to come.

We don't just do GRP at East Coast Boat building services with over 40 years in the trade we can work on wood as well .
The boatshed at WaveneyRiver Centre is full of a variety of craft all in for some DLC .

We have just finished an Ocean 42 wich came in for a machine polish and a refurbishment of the varnish work on the interior.
A Herbertwoods broard cruiser, a rare Andrews Thames river cruiser ( better known for building slipper launches), a Waveney one design, a norfolk dinghy number 66 (Gem) waiting for a new owner and a rare Brooke slipper launch also waiting to be loved .

East coast boat building services is celebrating a year in the their new boat shed premises at Waveney River Centre .
A few pictures of some of the work we have carried out for our customers from all over the norfolk broads.
With a heated workshop and over 40 years boatbuilding experience and a great team of grp specialist , marine engineers,stainless fabricators and upholstery/canopy makers it has been a full shed from the start .
We have carried out plenty of repaints ,thrusters ,alterations and repairs ,new canopies ,stainless steel work and marine engineering.
Working on wood ,grp and steel from 14 ft to 60 ft craft,and a 30 tonne travel lift with storage facilities make boat lifting and moving easy .
So a big thanks to all our returning customers and new over the past year .

Lovly sunny day at the boat shed today, one in for a refurb ,complete polish and wax ,antifoul new canopy thanks to Bailey and Stone ,new upholstery with some alterations on the interior up graded helm seats and a bow thruster fitted .

Nice line up in the corner of the boatshed at the moment ,Waveney sailing yacht under renovation new epoxy deck,seams routed above waterline and epoxy filled and painted with the sika flex botom work underway . In the middle a Squib sailing yacht just been repainted above the water line and new antifoul applied and lastly a Norfolk dinghy B66 (Gem) ready for a restoration.

It's been a busy winter in the boatshed at East coast boatbuilding sevices the team have been working on a variety of work .Grp repairs and repainting ,new bulkheads in an old wooden one and a complete repaint and re varnish , lots of grp machine polishing waxing and antifouling .
