🔴🔴🔴 JOB VACANCY 🔴🔴🔴

We currently have a vacancy for a class 1 HGV tramping driver based in Bathgate, West Lothian

The role is primarily on general curtain-side work - But may entail some flat / fridge (Shop deliveries) or Skelly work as required

🔴Monday to Friday 🔴
🔴 Nights out are required 🔴
🔴 Weekends to suit operational needs, however very infrequent🔴

🔴 The ability to work to all WTD / Drivers hours rules are an essential -
🔴 All cards must be in date -
🔴 Must be able to understand and stick to load security rules and regs

🟢 Weekly pay - Rate to be discussed with any potential applicants.

🟢 Truck will be a Scania S series, with fridge / microwave etc - MUST be kept clean and tidy

🟢🔴🟢 Lastly - If you can’t make your work on a Monday morning, like a sniff or “smoke” , need home every Wednesday so your goldfish can get a manicure - This is not the job for you, I’ll go out of my way to make sure your home when you need to be, birthdays / funerals etc - that’s not a question -

We have been supplying traction to various individuals throughout the festive period and throughout -

That’s a wrap for us moving cars - it’s a bitter sweet day, everyone’s moving on to pastures new.

I’ve bought an artic and am supplying traction services moving forward - curtain / fridge or flat - if I can hook it, I’ll haul it.

Thanks one again to everyone for there amazing support - couldn’t have done it otherwise

What an absolute trip it’s been over the past 4 and a bit years - from a single recovery truck to multiple and multi car carriers -

I’ve been blessed with an absolute beast of a team of drivers - they absolutely do my nut in at times, but they have always gone above and beyond, I couldn’t have asked for any better let’s put it that way -

My family have backed me every step of the way, and suffered because of some of my choices, but we have just got on with it whilst looking at the bigger picture -

Through the ups and downs, my family / drivers and customers have all bared with me throughout and for that, I’ll be forever thankful.

Unfortunately though, all good things must come to an end,
And this is one of them, absolutely gutted, but I feel I’ve taken this as far as I can - growing costs and pressures have just made me decide it’s time to adventure avenues new -

I’ll still be involved in car transport in a big way, it’s certainly not the last for me - I’ve got some exciting prospects ahead for myself and my wee team - all will be apparent soon enough -

Thank you all - each and every one for the help through the past few years, friends, family, customers and drivers, you made it all possible -
