A fantastic day on the course yesterday as two teams from Westbound Logistics Services took part in the BIFA Golf Day in support of Transaid, hosted at the beautiful Chelmsford Golf Club.

The event brought together some great people from across the industry for a brilliant cause, with plenty of competitive golf, good conversation and thankfully some sunshine along the way.

We were proud to have two Westbound teams entered, finishing in 2nd and 3rd place respectively, but the standout moment of the day undoubtedly came from Richard, who achieved an incredible hole in one on the 15th hole (par 3 175 yds). A moment none of us will forget anytime soon.

A huge thank you for hosting such a well organised and enjoyable event, and thank you to all the other teams who attended and helped support a very worthwhile cause.

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager / Sales Executive to join Westbound.

This is a new business role. You’ll be out in the market opening doors, building relationships, and winning freight across sea, air, and European road.

If you’re someone who enjoys the chase as much as the close, and you’re confident turning opportunities into long-term, profitable accounts, we’d like to hear from you.

You’ll be supported by a strong internal team across pricing and operations, with the freedom to build your own pipeline and grow your customer base.
