The Latin America Sweepstake Is Done And Envio Is World Cup Ready!

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup kicking off in Mexico on June 11th, the Envio office has completed its all-important World Cup sweepstake draw. The stakes? A bottle of champagne and a gift voucher for the lucky team member whose nation goes furthest in the tournament. Although shipping services were not directly named in the order, the broad wording and uncertainty surrounding enforcement have led both carriers to reassess their exposure to Cuba-related trade.

Brazil Opens Santos Mega Terminal Bid To Global Carriers

Brazil has indicated that container shipping lines will be allowed to bid for the highly anticipated Tecon Santos 10 terminal project at the Port of Santos, reversing an earlier court-backed restriction that had threatened to exclude major global operators from the process. The move follows months of legal and regulatory uncertainty surrounding the planned greenfield container terminal, widely regarded as the most important port infrastructure project currently under development in Brazil.
