Happy new year to all

2026 marks 50 years since one man and his little red and yellow Volvo set out into the world of road haulage and also the path of self employment.

At the time he didn’t have much money as you didn’t, a young family and lived in a council house but what he did have and still has to this day is a relentless work ethic. Opportunities came and very steadily the business grew peaking at forty vehicles operating after almost forty years had passed. Birthdays and anniversaries mean nothing really only in pub talk and to the people closest but a half century in road haulage is something the we remember with good memories and pride.

Our race is now done, time to pass over the baton, reflect and realise that nothing lasts forever but what I can tell you it’s been one hell of a ride !!!
