Department for Infrastructure 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭

Unfortunately, I’m starting to dread Belfast city centre weddings 😩

I absolutely love being part of someone’s special day, but the bus lane tickets, traffic and restrictions are becoming incredibly stressful for a small wedding car business.

Today’s frustration came after taking a couple from Belfast City Hall to their reception at Margot on a horrible rainy day. What was I supposed to do — leave my bride standing in the rain and get soaked? ☔️👰‍♀️ I was only dropping off at Margot at 5.48 pm for reception.

I challenged the ticket, but unfortunately received a rejection today.

I’m just trying to provide the best possible service for my couples, but the joys — and challenges — of running a small wedding car business! 🚗💍❤️

Maybe Belfast city centre weddings need a little more understanding of the practical realities of wedding transport. Absolutely disgusted Minister John O'Dowd

I just wanted to send a huge thank you for everything you did for us on our wedding day. You were so professional, kind and lovely, and you made the whole experience feel so easy and special.

An extra special thank you for the Prosecco and, most importantly, the air conditioning after the ceremony! 😂🤍 You have absolutely no idea how much I needed it - it was such a thoughtful touch and honestly made such a difference after being so warm in my dress!

Thank you again for helping make our day so memorable. We really appreciated everything you did for us and couldn’t have asked for a lovelier service.
