No amount of brake cleaner is going to fix a failed EGR valve 👈️🔧

Once the internal electronics are gone, they're gone.

Carbon build-up on an EGR is normal, that's the job it's doing. When the electronics inside the valve have failed, no spray, additive or trick is bringing them back. It needs replacing, and it's worth fitting a HELLA quality part when you do.

If the variant's too new for your tooling, macsRemote covers it. Connect online, raise a ticket, and the EGR gets coded or taught in using the genuine factory tool, in your workshop!

One more day to the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event and the HELLA Gutmann stand has the UK debut of two pieces of kit worth the trip on their own 📦️🔥

The CSC-Tool PRO brings fully digital ADAS calibration with an automated chassis pre-check, with the newly launched mega macs PLUS. Add the MT-HV for high-voltage work, macsRemote demos, and Steve Fox's seminar on Secure Gateway Access, and there's enough on Stand A30 to justify the diary entry.
