Jewell Enterprises currently has a vacancy for a Warehouse Operative to join our team on the back shift at our yard in Biggleswade, SG18 8BN.

🕑 Hours: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
📍 Location: Biggleswade, SG18 8BN
🚜 Reach Forklift experience required

The role will include, but is not limited to:

• Unloading lorries
• Processing customer orders
• Stock allocation
• Picking and scanning runs
• Loading vans and lorries
• Processing and compacting rubbish
• General housekeeping within the warehouse and yard
• Using a reach forklift as part of day-to-day duties

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, organised and comfortable working as part of a busy warehouse team.

⚠️ Applicants must be able to make their own way to and from our Biggleswade yard, including at the end of the shift at 10:00pm.

📍 Location: Biggleswade, SG18 8BN
🚜 Reach Forklift experience required

Jewell Enterprises is hiring!!!

We are currently looking for 1 & 2 man delivery teams to carry out Furniture deliveries & installations.

Installations types vary from light installs of office furniture to more complex wall installations and hanging of artwork so we are looking for applicants with different skill levels. Previous experience is essential Pay is based on skill level. Pay starting from £140 per day.

All applicants need to be able to make their own way to and from the yard. Drivers must be over 25 for insurance purposes and have a full UK drivers licence.

We’re Hiring – Join the Jewell Enterprises Team

Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting for the following roles:

Late Shift Warehouse Operative
Hours: 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Duties will include:

- Loading vans ready for the following day’s deliveries
- Booking in deliveries received throughout the day
- Receiving goods and checking deliveries against paperwork
- Processing orders ready for dispatch the following day
- Putting stock away and updating stock locations
- Picking, packing, labelling and preparing goods for delivery
- Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organised
- Processing cardboard, packaging and general warehouse waste
- Assisting with stock checks and inventory control
- Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties as required

Class 2 Lorry Driver – Late Shift
Hours: 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Duties will include:

- Nightly collection from Northampton
- Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and professionally
- Loading and unloading goods where required
- Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Ensuring all paperwork and delivery documentation is completed correctly
- Supporting warehouse operations when required
- Maintaining high standards of customer service and vehicle cleanliness

A valid Class 2 licence, CPC and Digi Tacho card are required.

Logistics Co-ordinator
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Duties will include:

- Booking deliveries with customers and clients
- Scheduling and routing daily runs for up to 10 vans
- Liaising with drivers, warehouse staff and customers
- Managing changes to routes and delivery schedules throughout the day
- Updating systems and keeping accurate delivery records
- Tracking deliveries and resolving any issues quickly
- Communicating ETAs and delivery information clearly
- Supporting the operations team with general transport and admin duties

We are looking for reliable, hardworking and organised people who can work well as part of a busy logistics and warehousing team.

Experience in warehousing, transport, logistics or furniture distribution would be an advantage, but the right attitude is just as important.

Requirements:
Independent problem solver with good communication skills
Able to lift heavy goods and installation skills
Must have held your full driving licence for a minimum of 12 months
Commercial (or work-related) driving experience is a bonus but not essential
Able to work 9-hour shifts and flexible to work any day throughout the week
