ATC Distribution require a Class 1 Hgv driver

Due to further expansion we require a class 1 HGV driver on both a nightshift and dayshift basis to work out of our Irvine depot.
We are a progressive and forward-thinking company are looking for a similar minded person to help us get to the next step in our future.
In the last years we have grown from 2 vans to 25 vans,7.5t and now class 1.
We carry out work for some of the largest transport companies in Britain.
Duties will be general driving duties, observing current legal and best practice procedures to serve our clients, assisting with loading/unloading when required and making sure customers loads are secured in a professional manner. Most of our work is on curtain side vehicles.

Currently hours are Monday to Friday and start times are to suit customers’ needs and possibly in the future Sunday nightshifts may be required.
Driver requirements are a full UK C+E class one licence with no more than 6 points and no previous disqualifications.
Current drivers CPC and a good knowledge of driver’s hours and WTD regulations.
Preferably have at least 2 years HGV driving experience.
Wages are negotiable and will be discussed at interview.

Due to Substantial Growth, we have the following Job Vacancies Available Drivers & Drivers Assistants working from our Irvine Depot as part of our 2 Man Home Delivery Team, White Glove Service, Business to Business Delivery Service, Warehouse & Distribution Centre Staff, covering all areas of Scotland & UK, delivering a wide range of products for our Prestigious Clients,

You will be paid weekly into your Bank Via Bacs, we do not Ask Our Crews to Pay Van Hire, Insurances, Fuel, Uniform or any other expense within our Business,
We offer a Wage that is over and above the National Minimum Wage, we also have an Incentives Scheme that Runs Month to Month with the winning crews sharing the allocated Bonus for the month
What we look for in our people,
You will be an experienced and skilled multi-drop driver with a Full U.K Licence (held for at least 12 months) with some experience in driving 3.5 t LWB, Luton, & Low Floor Luton Vans
You will work dayshift, backshift, nightshift on occasion on a 6 from 7 shift pattern with overtime available. Part-time Ad-Hoc roles are also available.
You will be part of our team who pride themselves on providing excellent customer service whilst demonstrating safe and courteous driving on the road every day.
We all take responsibility for our health, safety, and well-being and the safety of others. Reporting to a Transport / Depot Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery and/or collection of all goods to/from our customers. As well as providing accurate information with a driver debrief at the end of each day.
In a customer-facing role, you will be the face of our business ensuring that all our customers are kept up to date with arrival times whilst also ensuring that all goods are delivered and installed to the highest level whilst demonstrating a highly professional service.
