Locally Operated Public Transport Company Providing Public Bus Services in Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire & Oxfordshire Chris Day’s connection with the bus industry goes back to his family’s involvement in with the old Red Rose, which used to operate between Halton, Wendover and Aylesbury. Taj Khan’s initial involvement in the ind

ustry was as a part-time Red Rover driver. His knowledge and passion for the industry developed during his time at Red Rover. Taj and Chris saw the potential for a bus company based on passenger comfort, low fares and regular service. One of the earliest ventures in the market was the Aylesbury link line route 7, which proved very successful. The company progressed rapidly over a short period of time, providing many services across the local counties earning a robust reputation in the bus industry. After Chris Days unfortunate passing in 2010, Taj Khan took full control of the company and dedicated a vehicle in memory of Chris Day for his services to Red Rose and the bus industry as a whole. The company currently operates in Dinton just outside of Aylesbury with a fully equipped workshop providing high-level maintenance for its vehicles

Ever developing the firm has recently acquired a fleet of brand new vehicles to maintain its company’s ethos of high-quality service. Red Rose operations centre on the provision of public bus services and some school services in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties. With a fleet of over 30 vehicles, all low floor accessible the company has evolved into one of the largest public bus service providers in the South East. Vehicles are styled in a distinctive yellow and red livery. In celebration of the Golden Jubilee in 2002, Red Rose paid tribute with a Golden Jubilee liveried vehicle, which was paraded around Aylesbury during the Queen’s visit. Similarly in 2012, a newly refurbished Alexander Enviro 200 had been prepared and liveried to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee. Service Changes From Monday 8th June 2026

Route 60 – Red Rose Travel (Buckingham – Winslow – Aylesbury Schools)

Change: From 8 June 2026, the school-day journeys that currently start and finish in Winslow will be extended to Buckingham.

What this means: Morning journeys will start in Buckingham instead of Winslow. Afternoon journeys will continue beyond Winslow and finish in Buckingham.

Route 100 – Red Rose Travel (Aylesbury – Milton Keynes)

Change: From 8 June 2026, the Monday to Saturday timetable will be revised, with additional journeys added on weekdays.

What stays the same? The Sunday timetable is unchanged.

Route K2 – Red Rose Travel (Aylesbury – Kingsbrook – Armstrongs Fields)

Change: From 8 June 2026, the timetable will be revised.

What is changing? The service will operate hourly.
Additional journeys will run during peak times.
During Monday to Friday off-peak periods, buses will start from Aylesbury Bus Station instead of Aylesbury Railway Station.

Change: From 8 June 2026, the timetable will be revised.

What is changing? A new hourly daytime service will operate Monday to Saturday between Aylesbury, Winslow and Buckingham.
Evening journeys will be retimed: The 7:45 pm departure from Aylesbury will run 30 minutes earlier (7:15 pm).
The 8:30 pm departure from Buckingham will run 30 minutes earlier (8:00 pm).

What stays the same? The Sunday timetable is unchanged.

From today, Services 108 & 109 will follow a revised route from Aylesbury School in the afternoon.

After departing the School Coach Park, buses will:
➡️ Serve Aylesbury College
↩️ U-turn at the roundabout
⬅️ Turn left onto Gatehouse Way
⬅️ Turn left onto Bicester Road
➡️ Continue towards Nether Winchendon & Upper Winchendon

Emergency Road Closure Diversion Oxford Road, Aylesbury
Service 108/109

Dear Customers,

Service 108/109 Diversion – Oxford Road Closure

Due to a road closure on Oxford Road, Services 108 and 109 will be on diversion.

The service will operate as normal in all areas except Stone. Buses will instead use the roundabout opposite BWK Solicitors to make a U-turn, then travel via Upper Winchendon and Nether Winchendon towards Aylesbury schools.

Please note that delays are likely while this diversion is in place.

At present, this diversion applies to the morning (AM) journey only. We will provide an update as soon as we have further information regarding the afternoon (PM) journey.

The following stops will not be served:

Crossroads, Stone
Stone Village Hall
Rose and Crown
Bugle Horn, Stone
