The BEIGE BORING brand epidemic is real! The more artificial everything gets, the more important real branding is. Do the roots first!

OK, so before I start putting out visuals and a re-brand for my own business, I'd like to put the feelers out for anyone who would like a biz re-brand or re-fresh. I've been working on something (for a while now) that is going to be the heart of everything I do.

It's a focused brand strategy sprint, where we spend about 2 weeks going deep deep into your biz and we re-create the LIVING CORE of your brand strategy from it, and of course a bold and brilliant visual identity system and logo on top. On top of this you get a living hub to run it all from, and it basically it's just what I wish I had years ago, and will make your life MUCH easier.

Most independent businesses don't need reinventing. The soul is already there. What they need is the muddle cleared away so the soul can actually be seen. Then to make it useful, smart and strategised, not just beautiful (though that is also a nice-ta-have!)

This sprint has been created with REAL businesses in mind - so in response to starting this journey in 2002 and NOW really zooming in what folk ACTUALLY need NOW in 2026. Things always change, but we are really in a strange period just now where it's all moving so so fast (I'll avoid the end of the world AI chat here and keep in light! 🫠)

So, as well as an artist-led brand strategy, this includes 5 re-usable branded Adobe Express/Canva templates, and some pre-made social posts (based on your messaging, themes and pillars) - so you will have everything you need to get some momentum going from those strong roots. And it makes every pound you spend on marketing (or ads) afterwards work harder, because for once the foundations are actually in.

Not ready for the full sprint? There are modular options that tackle one part of the picture at a time (if you already have a logo, but would like some strategy to give it better foundations). Just ask.

What if we already have a logo we love?
Great, keep it. Doing the strategy doesn't automatically mean a re-brand, nothing visual gets thrown out unless you decide it should. Often it makes what you already have work harder.

I have something new and exciting coming from my business and am looking for case study folk (business owners) who can give me some testimonials in return for me selling this at a low price (and you being my guinea pig). I'm specifically looking for folk who are needing to make their brand strategy more cohesive across their business, or who struggle with managing ALL the things (brand identity / website / socials), or maybe you don't have a brand identity at all.

I've been working my ass off on this for about a year now, and am so excited to get to this point - and the aim is to help busy (hello attention economy that we now live in, ugh, boak) and neurospicy brains like myself manage all the things easier (for online strategy and also good ol' fashioned printed marketing).

Pictured is my art studio overlord, helping me design some recent leaflets. Big thanks to HIE (Highlands and Islands Enterprise ) for the grant for a recent trip to Birmingham, for the (videos of that and recent designs coming soon!).

I have been very neglectful of my PCD social pages haven't I?!... HOWEVER, this is about to change!.. In the past, I've seen it as almost a badge of honour that I've not really had to do any marketing, as almost all my work has been self-sustaining and all come through word of mouth. Marketing feels like a bit of a dirty word, doesn't it, especially to us Scottish folk. Over the past couple of years I have been upskilling across various skillsets and I feel it's about time to apply what I do for other businesses to my own... so it's time to package up my offerings.

These packages will be suitable to businesses of all sizes, they will incorporate , , - and all the different outputs and formats that come within that ( , , , , , , , ... etc). This feels like quite a mighty culmination of 20 years working in the field (I know, that is crazy - I just double checked that, and I graduated in 2006! eek) I've really been trying to listen to what my clients want and need as changes - and provide services that link together the bigger business goals and strategy with the sexy visuals - so you get the [bigger] picture, and the smaller one too - with room to grow. A big thanks to the folk just now that are my package test subjects.
