If you went past the shop yesterday, you would’ve seen this WALL of tyres that we’ve been holding onto for more years than we care to remember… they’re a bit too perished for use on any of our bikes, but thankfully they still have lives to be lived on bikes in Gambia!

For the past 20 years, Nigel has been collecting old bikes/spares and shipping them to Gambia. Here, they’re fixed up to enable people to cycle to school, work or the market.

Reuse is better than recycle, so we are really grateful to Nigel and the people he works with to keep these going and prevent more STUFF being produced. And, this means more storage space round the back of the shop!! Which we have already filled. 😅
