Headcorn International Airshow Headcorn Aerodrome's official airshow The Headcorn Special Events Team

Headcorn Special Events

The team behind Headcorn Special Events, have joined together from varied backgrounds in film, television, radio, music, education, aviation and security with combined experience of over 200 years! One of the team is Jamie Freeman (owner of the Aerodrome) who works tirelessly every day to ensure the smooth day to day running of Headcorn Aerodrome. The Aerodrome was purcha

sed at auction by his family back in 1927 and played an important part during the war being used by the RAF and also the USAAF. Jamie’s dream is to give everyone an opportunity to experience the thrill and beauty of the skies above us by either flight, hot air balloons and not for the faint hearted parachuting. The aim of the team is to bring varied types of events and shows to the airfield with an aerial twist, so all generations and walks of life can enjoy this beautiful countryside and make people aware of some the other incredible activities the Aerodrome has to offer. We all enjoy working “hands on” all year to put these shows together so, If you come to one of our events at the aerodrome, pop over and say hello we will all be there!

🚨 LINEUP ANNOUNCEMENT🚨

A true Dunkirk veteran joins the lineup.

The Hawker Hurricane Mk.I P2902 (G-ROBT) from has been Cleared to Display at the Headcorn International Airshow 2026.

Built in 1939, P2902 flew during Operation Dynamo before being shot down and crash-landed on a Dunkirk beach on 31 May 1940. Recovered decades later and beautifully restored, this remarkable Hurricane is now flying once again.

History, still flying. ✈️

Red 12 has crossed the Channel.

A two-and-a-half-hour flight from France into England.
There are almost no original Emils left flying.
This is one of them. Bf 109 E-4, Werknummer 1983, built in 1939. It flew with 5./JG 5 over the Arctic and was shot down near Murmansk in January 1942, fighting Hurricanes. It lay in the tundra for fifty-one years.

Charlie Brown brought it back to the sky in
2023 after it was restored by Eberhard Thiesen with the engine overhauled by Dirk Bende. Yesterday Charlie flew it across the water.

An Emil over the Channel again.

🤿 HIA DEEP DIVE: SPITFIRE N3200 RECAP- THE SPITFIRE THAT ROSE OUT OF THE SAND

Headcorn International Airshow 2026 · 27–28 June · Headcorn Aerodrome, Kent

She flew one mission. She was lost for forty-six years. In the last week of June, she flies into Kent.
Supermarine Spitfire Mk Ia N3200 is one of the rarest sightings in the sky - an authentic combat veteran of 1940. Not a restoration in period markings. Not a representative airframe. The actual aircraft. She fought. She fell. She was buried in sand. She rose to fly again.
