To complete the installation, we fitted suitable isolation and changeover switching, allowing the driver to safely switch between the vehicle's standard headlights and the dedicated plough lights as required.

It’s been a busy few weeks here at Commercial Auto Electrics, and if we’re honest… our socials have taken a bit of a back seat.

Another Defender through the workshop, this time built for a recovery company 260 miles away!

Another Defender done right 👌

This Defender 110 Commercial came in this week for a full Reg 65 highways amber install, built for night work on vegetation and tree clearance.

When you’re working roadside at night, being seen and seeing clearly isn’t optional, it’s critical.

Here’s what we fitted:

✅ Lazer Triple-R 750 (grille mounted with amber flash for that OEM look)

✅ Redtronic SP2 fend-off plate (rear + side amber coverage without drilling the body)

✅ Whelen Edge 9SX 48" lightbar (fully programmable — alley lights, work lights, stop/tail/indicators)
