Busy day today, Full valets on not one but two Cessna Citation’s. A full team effort to get these stunners cleaned, polished and detailed bright work done in time for their return to service.

It came as a genuine shock to both myself and Michelle for Micro Aviation Ltd to be honoured with the BMAA’s Industry of the year award, to be nominated would have been enough!

We started “Micro” from nothing, investing a few hundred pounds in to valeting equipment and launching Micro Valets operating out the back of our car. The money we raised from that we reinvested back into our next venture Micro Maintenance and straight in to the first Covid-19 lockdown!

Fortunately with the help, support and encouragement of many people, companies our customers and the British Microlight Aircraft Association we, like others came through the other side bigger than ever, helping us to launch our third venture Micro Training and becoming one of the largest flying schools in the country.

To say the journey has been non eventful would be untrue, but wow what a journey!

Personally, for our hard work to be recognised is truly humbling, but more importantly we see this as a recognition to all our staff (past & present) and our close friends who volunteer their time and support unequivocally to make Micro what it is today, this award is because of and for you!

Both Michelle and I would like to thank you all for your endless support.
