This week we lost our Laurie Nic. The founding partner of Nicholson & Holdsworth livestock haulage. Laurie started the business in 1972 as L F Nicholson with a four wheeler Albion wagon, with a wooden box and two decks carrying livestock to and from farms and local markets. He ran a A series 120 Gardner ERF for 22 years.

In 1987 he was joined by his son in law David, and started the company Nicholson & Holdsworth. He worked in the partnership until 2012, retiring from truck driving at the age of 80. But continued to be a great supporter of the business, he will be sadly missed. A true gentleman and a legend.

Livestock – Ideally someone, who has experience of handling livestock, and would be prepared to be away from home for some nights per week.
