Our journey from canals to coastlines continues with some excitement!
Andy is now a qualified RYA sailing instructor and this weekend he is on board with a sailing school helping to run an RYA Competent Crew course.
As they left Cumbrae this morning, Belfast Coastguard issued a request for someone to assist a yacht that was drifting off the coast of Cumbrae with a rope around its prop.
A trained coxswain with the RNLI, Andy responded to the request and together with the training crew was able to bring the casualty vessel alongside and secure the yacht to a mooring buoy in the harbour.
