From 1 January 2026, the Terminal Drop-Off Charge will increase to £7. We will also be introducing a maximum stay of 10 minutes in the drop-off area.

Blue badge holders get a 100% discount and are exempt from the maximum stay limit.

Free drop-off options remain available at Park & Ride car parks.

Passengers are reminded to arrive at the airport two hours before a European flight and three hours before a long haul flight.

We ask passengers not to arrive earlier than these times as this may cause unnecessary congestion in the airport.

Terminal 4 check-in has been closed and evacuated while emergency services respond to an incident. Please do not travel to Terminal 4, colleagues are supporting passengers on site. We will provide further information as soon as we can, all other terminals are operating as normal

Team at Heathrow still working on it.

Our teams have worked tirelessly since the incident to ensure a speedy recovery. We’re now safely able to restart flights, prioritising repatriation and relocation of aircraft.
