We’re delighted to introduce something rather special to our aviation memorabilia collection!

RAF de Havilland Comet R.2 – XK695 🛩️

Originally destined for BOAC (the predecessor of British Airways), XK695 went on to serve with the Royal Air Force, including its fascinating career as a specialist reconnaissance aircraft with No. 51 Squadron.

Following retirement, the aircraft was preserved at Duxford before being dismantled in 1992.

We’ve acquired an original section of the aircraft’s freight bay lining through Duxford Aviation Society, following a charitable donation supporting their preservation work.

This isn’t a reproduction. It’s a real surviving piece of XK695’s history.
