Evening campers
Im back after a wonderful week away with the wife and kids ❤️❤️
While away, I've thought alot about the business, talked to the wife and decided ----

since announcing that I might sell up and move on, ive had that many messages and regular customers returning from hires with gifts, beer, chocolate etc its doing my diet no good what so ever 🤣🤣 you lot, the wife and friends have made me realise, I must be mad to sell up my passion and cracking business that I've built from scratch 11 years ago 😁😁😁
That said, there are going to be some significant changes 👍🏻👍🏻 this is so i can start on other projects and spend more time with the wife and kids throughout summer.
So first off
I'm reducing the fleet from 7 motorhome and campervans to ONLY 3. We will have 2, 4 berth motorhomes and 1, 2 berth campervan, so ONLY running 3 vans in total for 2027
Im going to keep our automatic 4 berth kilig 18 motorhome for 2027 and add 2 new ones
I would like some help from you lot regarding the other 2 vehicles I decide to buy.
WHAT LAYOUTS WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE FOR 2027 ??
Fixed bed ?
Rear lounge?
Rear bench seats?
Auto or manual?
Etc, etc, please comment with your thoughts 😁
NEXT
I won't be offering collections or drop offs on a Saturday, Sunday or monday 👍🏻👍🏻 i want to get my weekends back and bank holidays to spend with family ❤️❤️
With only running 3 vans and our customer base, im going to get way more enquiries than i can for fill, so im pretty sure I can have weekends off 😁😁 this is a personal choice and I know this won't suit everyone, but this is the main reason I was considering selling in the first place 👍🏻👍🏻
LASTLY
IM SCRAPPING THE MINIMUM OF 5 DAYS HIRE.
Again a decision that won't suit everyone, but I have genuine reasons behind this 👍🏻👍🏻
Since offering a 5 days hire a couple of years ago, its simply just not cost effective.
Most 5 days hires are for Thursday to monday, which basically means events and festivals
Ive always been way to cheap compared to other companies for festivals and events, all the main events fill up straight away when dates are released
It also upsets my diaries, vans can be sat at work for a few days in between the shorter hires not earning anything. That's not great business sense and ive just been offering the shorter hires just to suit customers really
So im going back to how I use to run the business
Throughout the main season it will be a MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKS HIRE CHARGE 👍🏻👍🏻
Look at it this way, want to go to a festival ? The vans will be available say Tuesday to Tuesday, thats what you will pay for, you can either collect on a Tuesday and head off somewhere then go to the festival, or collect say Wednesday/,Thursday to return Tuesday (ill be closed monday) for the same price 👍🏻👍🏻
Im not going to put my prices up for 2027 😁😁 so all you need to do is compare our current prices with other companies and you will soon realise what I mean ❤️❤️
At the moment, I think thats about it for changes for the 2027 season 😁 still the same business, you will still be hiring from me and still at absolutely cracking prices 😉😉
Just one thing to note, if you want to book key dates for next year, do it sooner rather than later 👍🏻👍🏻 i need to find less than half the customers than I have done for the last few years, so it won't take long to fill 3 vans 😉
