🔊 WE NEED YOUR HELP! 👂😊

One of our children’s ear defenders seems to have enjoyed their visit to the railway so much that they’ve accidentally gone home with someone! 🚂😂

We provide ear defenders for children who are sensitive to noise, helping them enjoy their visit to the railway comfortably and confidently. 💛

If you’ve discovered a pair in your bag, car or at home, please don’t worry — we know it was probably an easy mistake to make! We’d be very grateful if you could return them to the station on your next visit or email [email protected] and we can arrange for collection/post.

They’re an important little part of helping all children enjoy their railway experience. 🚂❤️

Unfortunately HSE prohibits passengers on the tram deck - guards only 🙂

🤝 Last week we were delighted to welcome a fantastic team from Aker Solutions to the railway as part of their corporate volunteering programme.

The team got stuck into our sleeper replacement programme — hard, physical work, but absolutely essential to keeping the railway safe and running for our volunteers and visitors. 🚂

As a small volunteer-led charity, support like this makes a huge difference. A huge thank you to everyone from Aker for their enthusiasm, teamwork and willingness to roll up their sleeves.

Happy happy birthday to one of our youngest volunteers JayFae HillHead 16 today!

A family affair, Jay volunteers at the railway week in week out along with his grandad and his mum Morag Christie and of course Carbon the station dog!

Initially came to us for Saltire and Duke of Edinburgh but now comes as he loves it and we love having him - even though he eats all the mars bars!
