One set of chives has an invasion of black aphids? We're hoping the ladybirds have a feast! If you wish to cut any chives for your salads, please choose an 'un-flied' plant!
The self seeded thistle is doing well, waiting for its flower.
And we do have poppies at the station, but not the seeds we sowed...yet.

The Basingstoke Canal is a very short walk from Ash Vale Station. Teeming with wildlife and makes for a lovely walk. Walk in either direction along the canal path and find places to stop for a drink and nibbles! Vale Cafe, the Swan pub, Canal Cafe, Frimley Lodge Cafe.

The Peace Lily in the waiting room is budding!

We had a 'meet and greet' evening on Tuesday. Celebrating Community Rail week, we were able to offer fruit, crisps, biscuits and drinks to passengers waiting for their trains. Thank you to Asda for donating the goodies.
It was lovely meeting everyone.
