A long, very hot and sweaty move today. 34°C. Moved a 3m long marble table, a 300 kg piano and lift a huge headboard over a 1st floor balcony. 5 van loads, 16 hours and some now, very tired men.
And we do it all again tomorrow. Bosh!

Doing a shipping job to San Diego. London architecture isn’t always the easiest. Very narrow spiral staircase in this instance.
One gets the experts in and the wonderful Pritchards of London’s ladder hoist. Done in a jiffy. The lads were grateful too. 4 the floor in Primrose Hill.

The 4th annual Rhodes Removals barbecue. As usual much fun was had by all. I love the fact that it gets bigger every year. My way of thanking the guys for all their hard work and of course their partners.

Unfortunately Geoff faded early, so the rest of us had to go and check on him.

A big thank you to Jaco and Annake for all your help with the cooking.

When you're moving an antique French Sideboard which is 12 feet long - you need enough guys - in this case 6 of them. The sideboard then had to be delivered into our customers new home via a window. Unfortunately we did not get any photos of that as it required 8 of us to be hands on.

As with all removals, things can sometimes be a little tricky to bring into the property in the conventional way, particularly in London. Doors too narrow, spiral staircases. However, there is usually an easy answer. This antique chest of drawers and a few other pieces had to come in via the 2nd floor balcony.
